Bootstraps Food Collection
Second graders are grateful to the GUS community for last week’s donation of 717 food items to Beverly Bootstraps. The second grade class collects non-perishable food each month in order to help Beverly Bootstraps maintain their supply of food. Parents and faculty help to deliver the goods to the pantry in Beverly. Last year the class collected more than 3,000 items. Peanut butter, pasta, hearty soups, canned fruits and vegetables, and canned fish and meats are especially needed and appreciated. Thank you for your support of this important cause.
