Head of School
Welcome to the Glen Urquhart web site, and thank you for wanting to know more about our school. I am often asked what makes Glen Urquhart different from other schools, and my standard response is “climate.” One immediately senses a different climate in this school, from the classical music playing in the lobby to the relaxed and respectful conversations occurring among teachers and students. As I walk around the campus, I am constantly reminded that this is a school that truly lives its mission statement. It is a remarkable place for children to grow. The GUS community honors individuality, embraces differences, values the arts, serves other people, and finds joy in learning. We have a commitment to knowledge, we foster creativity, and we develop young people of good character. That is our culture.
