Welcome to Glen Urquhart School. It is my pleasure to guide you through the steps of the admission process. You will get to know the school through many avenues: this web site, the view book, a tour of the school, and your child’s visits to Glen Urquhart. Please feel free to call me with any questions or if you wish to attend any of the many school events.

I have been a part of Glen Urquhart for over 25 years, first as a parent of two sons who graduated from the school, then as a teacher and summer program director, and for the last 16 years, as the Director of Admission. It is a joyful place to come every day. I love greeting the children each morning and seeing their enthusiasm for their classmates, teachers, and classroom happenings. Children feel a critical ownership in their learning at GUS, and experienced teachers encourage and challenge students to reach their own personal best. The hands-on learning and integrated curriculum expand learning for students from kindergarten through eighth grade. It is truly a wonderful place to work and learn.

Please complete the inquiry card in order to receive the view book and application materials. You may also apply on-line. Please call if you have any questions.  We are still accepting applications for all grades; entry years are K, 1, 5, and 6.
