Afternoon Programs and Extended Day Information
Early Morning Care: 7:45 am – 8:45 am; $30 per week, $8 per day
Afternoon Activities for ages 4-8
noon – 4:00 pm; $99 per week
Campers who are enrolled in the full day camps for ages 4-5 or 6-8 are automatically enrolled in this program and do not need to enroll or pay additional tuition. Campers who are enrolled in half day specialty camps and who need a full day camp may enroll in this program by the week. At noon we eat lunch brought from home at our picnic area, then at 12:30 we get ready for our afternoon activities. Monday-Thursday our bus arrives at 1:00 to take us to beautiful West Beach accompanied by our lifeguard, nurse, and adult counselors. Each Friday we stay on campus for a special theme-related “Freaky Friday.” Every Friday is different and packed full of excitement! Previous years’ Fridays have included a pajama party, Halloween in July, and water adventures. Registration for this program is open until June 8.
Afternoon Adventures for ages 9-12
noon – 4:00 pm; $99 per week
Explorers who need a full day of camp may enroll in this weekly program. At noon we eat lunch brought from home at our picnic area with Voyagers who are staying for the afternoon. Then we get ready for whatever adventure our afternoon counselor has planned. This might include hitting up the beach with everyone else, staying on campus to play games or do some cool crafts, play volleyball, or take a hike. On Fridays, we join the rest of the camp for “Freaky Friday” activities (described in the Afternoon Activities section above). Our Adventures counselors are adults with teaching experience and certification in First Aid and CPR. The Summer Camp Director is available to assist them as needed. Registration is open for this program until June 8.
