New Entry Sustainable Farm CSA at GUS!
We are excited to continue our partnership with New Entry Sustainable Farming Project.
Starting Wednesday, September 11, weekly CSA or 'CSA Your Way' shares can be picked up at GUS, in the Braemar lobby. At this time, this is offered only to those within the GUS community.
Weekly CSA: Enroll in their weekly CSA ($40/week for 8 weeks - $320 total), and pick up your box every Wednesday at GUS.
CSA Your Way: Order what you want, weekly, based on availability. If you opt for "your way," ordering opens weekly on Wednesdays at 5PM, and closes at 9AM Friday, for delivery on Wednesdays with the other GUS shares. You can shop their site like you're adding items to a virtual cart, OR you can opt to purchase "credits" ahead of time at set dollar amounts. It's all up to you!
About New Entry Sustainable Farm
When you purchase a New Entry CSA share you get high quality local produce while supporting the next generation of culturally diverse farmers! Moreover, proceeds from CSA sales directly fund our program’s efforts to increase access to local food in low-income communities.
The value of the New Entry CSA share is top-notch, combining fresh, sustainably-grown local produce from New Entry farmers! As CSA members, participants eat healthier, support local farmers, and help increase food security in Eastern Massachusetts!
The New Entry CSA (Community Supported Agriculture)
Delivers boxes of freshly harvested local produce to convenient pick up locations throughout eastern Massachusetts.
Represents a great way to eat healthier by receiving fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables on a weekly basis. New Entry CSA shareholders receive a weekly box share or fully customizable CSA Your Way box.
Is unique because it facilitates direct-market-access which many low-income, multicultural, and beginning farmers may otherwise not be able to reach.
Helps support the training and technical assistance to successfully prepare the next generation of farmers in Massachusetts.
Revenues from CSA sales help fund the Food Hub’s food access work.
In short, by purchasing a CSA share participants eat healthier, support local farmers, and help increase food security in low-income communities

The New Entry Food Hub
Works with a network of over 30 small-scale farmers in eastern Massachusetts who grow their produce organically and sustainably. The food hub also works with established orchards, berry farms, and wholesale producers within 100 miles of Eastern Massachusetts. Working with local farmers enables us to provide customers with seasonal, fresh vegetables and fruit grown within their local food system.
Operates a CSA local produce share program, eCommerce platform for weekly ordering (CSA Your Way), offers wholesale purchasing opportunities, and provides small-scale farmers with the distribution infrastructure necessary to access broader markets.
Helps to strengthen local communities and increase access to fresh food by partnering with senior centers, homeless shelters, childcare facilities, food banks & pantries, and other organizations serving low-income community members. By delivering bulk produce orders to community partners we are able to increase food security across the communities of Eastern Massachusetts.
