Physical education and interscholastic sports are vital to fostering well-being, collaboration, and a readiness for competition.

For that reason, they are woven into the fabric of the Glen Urquhart program throughout all grades. GUS students compete in soccer, cross-country, track and field, basketball, and lacrosse, acquiring the physical and mental foundation to become valuable players, captains, and All-Americans on high school and college teams.

Who we are

GUS was founded in 1977 by a group of parents who wanted something deliberately different for their children - a learning environment that would engage them physically, emotionally, and intellectually.

Our Campus

What you might notice first about GUS is our open campus, with nature trails winding through our 23 acres, or our expansive windows that keep every classroom connected to the outside world.
