Distance Learning: Student Reflections
While we'd much rather be teaching our students in-person, we are finding ways to keep the GUS mission and philosophy of education alive through distance learning. We are striving to give our students the same, tangible, learning experiences they've come to expect at GUS, responding to their feedback and to our families' needs, and continuously learning and refining as we go.
In this short video, you'll hear a few of our upper school students reflect on their transition to distance learning. They talk about some of the challenges they've had, those they've overcome, and how they continue to work in this new way of learning. I am so proud of our students for their resilience, open-mindedness, and commitment being their best selves, no matter what life may throw at them. They have truly internalized our school battle cry, trust and go gorward.
As always, please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you might have about how we. I welcome every opportunity to talk about GUS and what makes our education style so unique.
Sincerely,
Gretchen Forsyth
