The Special GUS Magic
November flew by in a flash! Despite some rather warm days, the leaves have fallen and we now prepare for the winter months.
The first trimester is over. The Halloween parade, Grandfriends Day, and Bread Day brought our community together to celebrate in big ways. How good it has felt to be together again! We have come together to dream about the GUS of the future, with the announcement of our new Campus Master Plan, an effort that many members of the extended GUS community took part in. As we think about the school we want to be, we’ve also come together to create a new way to support all families looking for something different for their children. By reimaging how we approach tuition, we make sure that the GUS community is that warm and inviting community we know it to be, not just on special holidays and celebrations, but every day, in every way we can.
Once again, I’m excited by all the wonderful things happening on campus. From students exploring the nature trail to learning a new song for Solstice, or making a video for All School Meeting during Leadership Group time, in big ways and small ways, that special GUS magic is all around. It is swirling and growing, as we innovate and change, all while staying grounded in the value of humanity, relationships, and real experiences as central to all we do. The heart of GUS, which makes GUS so very GUS, the dedicated people and loving community, continues to endure as we trust and go forward into these winter months and a new year.
Trust and Go Forward,
