Distance Learning: Keeping Education Moving Forward

Since launching our plan for distance learning in March, GUS faculty and staff have stepped up, working tirelessly to ensure the social and emotional well-being of our students, while also providing them with engaging and appropriately challenging learning experiences. Due to their collective effort, GUS distance learning feels anything but distant.

The stability of a child-centered curriculum has been vital to helping young people navigate this new “normal.” Now more than ever, we are not only providing an education that parents want for their children, but also one that students need to learn and grow during these difficult times. In this video, Cori Russo, Interim Upper School Dean of Students and Latin Teacher, shares how GUS teachers are continuously adapting and working to meet our students exactly where they are. I hope you will take a moment to watch!

As always, please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you might have about GUS. I welcome the opportunity to talk about GUS, and share more about what makes it so special.

Sincerely,
Gretchen Forsyth
