As I take a moment to reflect on my years of teaching, I am struck by how my journey with mindfulness has evolved into an essential part of my being and at the core of my teaching. I am blessed to teach, to be in a profession that fosters connectivity and facilitates joy.

She gathered some sticks, and wrote out “miss you.” She had so much fun creating this ‘nature note’ she decided to bring it to her students.

Each day begins with yoga to calm and focus eager minds, and concludes with a reflection or meditation - sometimes lead by a student. In between, students practice deep breathing and mindful transitions when moving from one activity to the next.
